Job Description

Company Description

Quantum Qustody (Q²) specializes in post-quantum security and trust infrastructure, empowering institutions to secure digital value and maintain trust as cryptographic methods evolve. With a primary focus on digital assets, Q² provides solutions to mitigate cryptographic risks, manage capital movement, and ensure robust governance. Our mission is to safeguard digital assets, data, and critical systems in a secure and trusted post-quantum world.

Role Description

Are you tired of quantum readiness being treated like an academic science project Let's build real production patterns.

We are hiring a Principal Cryptographic Architect to design the operational blueprints for our Quantum Security Lab (QSL). You will turn NIST FIPS 203/204/205 standards into live, crypto-agile infrastructure.

What you'll do:

  • Design hybrid PQ/T schemes for TLS 1.3 and IKEv2.
  • Architect reusable reference patterns for PKI, Cloud KMS, and Code Signing.
  • Build the engineering playbooks that scale our migration waves from pilots to enterprise reality.

If you know HSMs, PKI, and cryptographic agility inside out and want to own the technical blueprints for a massive PQC migration, we are eager to talk to you.

This is a full-time remote role for a Principal Cryptographic Architect, specializing in Post-Quantum Cryptography. Responsibilities include leading the design and architecture of cryptographic systems, developing and integrating post-quantum cryptographic methods, and managing technical projects. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance, security, and scalability across solutions.

Qualifications

  • Experience in Architecture and Architectural Design, including the creation of scalable, secure, and efficient cryptographic systems
  • Proficiency in Software Development and Integration, with a focus on cryptographic application development and system implementation
  • Strong Project Management skills, with the ability to lead complex technical initiatives and coordinate across teams
  • In-depth knowledge of Post-Quantum Cryptography, cryptographic protocols, and cybersecurity principles
  • Advanced degree in Computer Science, Cryptography, Mathematics, or a related field
  • Familiarity with blockchain technologies and digital asset management is a plus
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and leadership abilities
