The job
We are seeking a highly accomplished and experienced Principal Consultant - Unified Operations Center (UOC) to lead the architecture, strategy, and delivery of enterprise-scale Industrial Automation and Digital Transformation solutions using the AVEVA portfolio. This role will serve as the technical authority for defining solution architectures, driving technology strategy, and delivering business-critical industrial solutions for global customers.
The ideal candidate will possess deep expertise in AVEVA System Platform, Unified Operations Center (UOC), industrial system architectures, SCADA/HMI solutions, enterprise integration, cloud-enabled industrial platforms, and OT-IT convergence. The Principal Consultant will be responsible for defining enterprise solution blueprints, establishing architecture and engineering standards, leading technical governance, and ensuring the successful delivery of scalable, secure, resilient, and high-availability solutions across complex industrial environments.
As a trusted advisor to customers and executive stakeholders, the Principal Consultant will collaborate with business leaders, enterprise architects, project managers, and multidisciplinary engineering teams to shape digital transformation initiatives across industries including Oil & Gas, Chemicals, Manufacturing, Mining, Utilities, Water, and Power. The role also includes driving pre-sales and solution consulting activities, mentoring senior consultants and engineering teams, establishing technical best practices and reusable frameworks, and influencing the organization's technology roadmap while ensuring successful project execution and long-term customer success.

Hybrid working
We work in a hybrid way at AVEVA. Most roles are based at a local AVEVA office, with an expectation of being on-site 50% of your working hours to support collaboration and connection. Some positions are fully office-based depending on the nature of the work, and certain roles that support specific customers or markets may be remote. The working arrangement for this position will be confirmed during the hiring process.
