We are looking for a senior PHP/WordPress developer with experience in building scalable web applications.
The ideal candidate can develop responsive front-ends using Angular , JavaScript, and jQuery, optimize MySQL databases, integrate APIs, and deploy on AWS.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable web applications using PHP and WordPress.

• Build responsive front-end interfaces with Angular , JavaScript, and jQuery.

• Design, optimize, and manage MySQL databases for high performance.

• Integrate third-party APIs and healthcare services securely and efficiently.

• Ensure security, HIPAA/GDPR compliance, and follow coding best practices.

• Deploy and manage applications on AWS, ensuring scalability and reliability.

• Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews to maintain code quality.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, QA, and DevOps.

• Implement automated testing, logging, monitoring, and troubleshoot production issues.

• Stay updated with healthcare tech trends and contribute to platform innovation and improvement.

Qualifications we seek in you!

Minimum Qualifications

• Professional experience in web application development.

• Strong experience in PHP and WordPress development.

• Proficiency in Angular , JavaScript, and jQuery for front-end development.

• Solid understanding of MySQL database design, optimization, and management.

• Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.

• Knowledge of cloud deployment and management on AWS.

• Understanding of web security, HIPAA/GDPR compliance, and best coding practices.

• Experience in integrating third-party APIs and healthcare systems.

• Ability to mentor junior developers, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and handle production troubleshooting.

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

• Prior experience in the healthcare technology (HealthTech) industry is a must. A deep understanding of the healthcare domain, including knowledge of EHR/EMR systems, patient data security, and HIPAA regulations is critical.

• Bachelor%27s or Master%27s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• Experience leading quality initiatives across multiple product lines or in a portfolio-based company.

• Familiarity with interoperability standards like HL7 and FHIR.
