Inviting applications for the role of Principal Consultant- SDET
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) with experience in Python automation and API testing
Responsibilities
.Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks using Python to ensure scalable and reusable solutions.
.Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and automation scripts to validate APIs, backend systems, and integrations.
.Perform functional, integration, and regression testing for applications.
.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business and technical requirements.
.Conduct performance and load testing for APIs to ensure optimal application performance.
.Identify, analyze, and document bugs and track their resolution.
.Implement and enhance CI/CD pipelines to integrate automated tests into the development lifecycle.
.Continuously improve testing processes, tools, and practices to ensure high-quality releases.
.Mentor and guide junior QA team members in testing practices and automation
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications
.Required: Experience in core Java technology and multi-threading. Strong SQL experience preferably in Postgres.

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
.Strong programming skills in Python and experience in building test automation frameworks.
.Proficiency in API testing using tools like Postman, REST Assured, or similar.
.Deep understanding of RESTful APIs, their architecture, and common testing techniques.
.Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps. . Solid understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and best practices.
.Experience in testing tools like Selenium, Pytest, or similar.
.Familiarity with database testing and SQL queries. . Knowledge of performance testing tools such as JMeter or Locust.
.Experience in cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
.Knowledge of containerization tools like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
.Exposure to BDD frameworks like Cucumber or Behave.
.Familiarity with security testing practices and tools.
