Principal Consultant - SAP PPQM

Job Summary:

• Responsible for the configuration, customization, and support of SAP PP (Production Planning) and QM (Quality Management) modules.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze production and quality processes, and deliver optimized SAP solutions.
• Ensure smooth integration of SAP PP-QM with other ERP modules such as MM and WM, while supporting end-to-end business processes.
• Provide hands-on support for SAP implementation, testing, training, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Configure SAP PP and QM modules to support business processes including production planning, shop floor control, and quality management.
• Customize SAP PP-QM functionalities to meet specific business needs.
• Analyze and map current production and quality processes to SAP, identifying gaps and proposing appropriate solutions.
• Configure work centers, routings, and production orders to enable efficient production planning and execution.
• Implement SAP QM functionalities including inspection plans, quality notifications, and defect management.
• Collaborate with planners and production teams to optimize schedules and capacity utilization.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and support regulatory requirements within SAP QM.
• Coordinate with SAP MM, WM, and other module teams for seamless system integration and end-to-end process support.
• Develop, execute, and document test plans; support defect resolution and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Provide user training and support on SAP PP-QM processes and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Create and maintain documentation including configuration settings, process flows, training materials, and user guides.
• Stay informed about the latest updates and best practices in SAP PP-QM and recommend process improvements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong experience in SAP PP and QM modules with hands-on configuration and support.
• Ability to work closely with business users and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and integrated SAP solutions.
