Principal Consultant – Renewable Energy Advisory

Role Overview

Lead renewable energy advisory and consulting assignments for corporates, investors, developers, financial institutions and other stakeholders across India's clean energy ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end renewable energy consulting and advisory projects.
• Undertake market, regulatory, policy and commercial analysis across solar, wind, storage and emerging RE technologies.
• Develop market assessments, feasibility studies, business cases and strategic recommendations.
• Advise clients on RE procurement, Open Access, PPAs, captive/group captive, BESS and decarbonisation strategies.
• Manage senior client relationships, presentations and workshops.
• Contribute to business development, proposals and new advisory offerings.
• Lead and mentor project teams and ensure high-quality, timely delivery.
• Build JMK's thought leadership and sector perspectives on India's renewable energy market.

Desired Profile

• 8–12+ years of experience in renewable energy consulting, research, development, investment or related sectors.
• Strong understanding of India's renewable energy market, policies, regulations and commercial models.
• Excellent analytical, communication, presentation and client management skills.
• Ability to independently lead projects and engage with senior stakeholders.
