About Position:

This is a techno-functional business growth role focused on shaping and accelerating Persistent's Data, Analytics, and AI business across strategic accounts and target markets. The role partners closely with sales, partnerships, delivery, and practice teams to identify high-value opportunities, define go-to-market priorities, shape differentiated solutions, and support commercial success. The Principal Consultant is expected to bring a strong blend of market understanding, enterprise Data and AI solution knowledge, executive client engagement, commercial acumen, and cross-functional leadership. This role will help drive pipeline, improve pursuit quality, manage offering evolution, and support expansion across key accounts..

What You'll Do:

  • Partner with sales leadership, partnerships, delivery, and CoE teams to drive growth for Persistent's Data, Analytics, and AI portfolio.
  • Identify and prioritize target market segments, strategic accounts, and high-potential offerings across existing and new clients.
  • Define and continuously refine go-to-market strategies, account plays, and solution offerings based on market demand, competitive positioning, and client priorities.
  • Lead the development of industry and account-specific points of view and offerings that connect Persistent's offerings to measurable business outcomes.
  • Engage senior client stakeholders to understand transformation priorities, shape conversations, and position Persistent as a strategic partner.
  • Influence strategic pursuits through solution framing, value articulation, commercial input, and deal-shaping discussions.
  • Work with internal teams to develop and package differentiated offerings, reusable assets, and strategic solution narratives for the market.
  • Co-develop business plans and targeted account plans with the GTM Leaders to strengthen pipeline generation, account penetration, and expansion potential.
  • Drive internal and external evangelization of Persistent's Data, Analytics, and AI capabilities through executive presentations, workshops, customer meetings, and industry events.
  • Take structured market, client, and field feedback into offering strategy, roadmap priorities, pricing considerations, and packaging decisions.
  • Manage transition from pursuit to delivery by ensuring clarity of solution intent, business context, and client expectations.
  • Enable cross-sell and up-sell opportunities by identifying adjacent transformation needs across the client landscape.

Expertise You'll Bring:

  • Over 12 years of experience across growth consulting, solutioning, pre-sales, enterprise architecture, consulting, or data and analytics delivery roles in medium to large enterprise environments.
  • Strong familiarity with enterprise Data, Analytics, and AI technologies, platforms, and transformation programs, and how they create business value.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage and influence senior client stakeholders across business and technology functions.
  • Strong commercial sense, including experience supporting deal shaping, value positioning, pursuit strategy, and complex client opportunities.
  • Proven ability to translate market signals and customer needs into solution opportunities, go-to-market priorities, and growth actions.
  • Strong executive communication and storytelling skills, especially in client-facing and leadership-facing settings.
  • Ability to work across multiple internal groups and align sales, delivery, pre-sales and practice stakeholders around a growth agenda.
  • Strategic thinking combined with strong execution discipline and attention to detail.
  • Experience creating business cases, client narratives, pursuit collateral, and market-facing solution content.
  • Prior exposure to partner and alliance-led growth motions.
  • Domain Knowledge in one or more core industry verticals such as Banking, Insurance, Healthcare, Consumer, or Industrials.
  • Experience influencing offering evolution, solution packaging, pricing inputs, or account strategy in a technology services environment.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise data modernization, analytics transformation, AI adoption, and related platform ecosystems.
  • Meeting pipeline targets and strategic account growth targets
  • Quality and impact of solution positioning across pursuits
  • Ability to lead cross-sell, up-sell initiatives
