Job Description:-
The position of Senior AI React Native Mobile Developer reports to the Team Lead or Project Manager. The Senior AI React Native Mobile Developer is a hands-on individual contributor responsible for analyzing business requirements, designing mobile solutions, developing and deploying applications, performing code reviews, and supporting application delivery.
The role requires strong expertise in React Native, TypeScript, Mobile Application Architecture, AWS/Azure Cloud Platforms, Artificial Intelligence (AI), Large Language Models (LLMs), and modern software engineering practices to build scalable, secure, intelligent, and high-performing enterprise mobile applications.
The ideal candidate combines strong mobile engineering fundamentals with practical experience building and deploying AI-enabled mobile applications in production environments. The role owns end-to-end delivery of AI-powered mobile capabilities including conversational AI, intelligent search, recommendations, workflow automation, knowledge assistants, agent-driven experiences, and enterprise AI integrations. As the accountable senior engineer, this individual is responsible for delivering AI-enabled business solutions that seamlessly integrate with enterprise applications while maintaining high standards of performance, scalability, reliability, security, and user experience.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- 8+ years working as a software engineer building production applications, including hands-on delivery of mobile and AI-enabled features.
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and support enterprise-grade React Native applications for iOS and Android platforms.
- Lead the team in enhancing application performance to achieve near-native experiences by identifying and eliminating performance constraints.
- Develop scalable, maintainable, reusable, and high-quality code while ensuring adherence to established coding standards and architectural best practices.
- Maintain the codebase ensuring solutions remain easy to understand, support, extend, and scale.
- Develop and implement automated testing strategies, including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing to ensure comprehensive test coverage and application stability.
- Lead implementation of pixel-perfect user interfaces that align with UX and product design specifications.
- Utilize native APIs and platform capabilities to provide seamless integrations and superior user experiences across mobile platforms.
- Collaborate with development teams to design and integrate custom native modules whenever required.
- Lead migration initiatives from React-based web applications to React Native mobile applications.
- Drive initiatives focused on application performance, usability, accessibility, responsiveness, and overall customer experience.
- Guide the team in effectively performing key responsibilities within Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Conduct code reviews, establish development standards, and mentor junior team members.
- Oversee defect identification, root cause analysis, troubleshooting, and resolution activities.
- Manage application release processes and deployments to Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
- Integrate mobile applications with REST APIs, GraphQL services, cloud-native platforms, and enterprise applications.
- Collaborate closely with Product Owners, UX Designers, Architects, QA teams, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable mobile solutions.
- Implement secure mobile development practices, including authentication, authorization, encryption, secrets management, and secure coding standards.
- Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, build automation, monitoring, logging, and operational excellence initiatives.
AI & LLM RESPONSIBILITIES:-
- Proven experience delivering AI-enabled product features integrated into production mobile applications.
- Design and implement mobile experiences powered by Generative AI, Agentic AI, Conversational AI, and Large Language Models (LLMs).
- Integrate mobile applications with enterprise AI services including Amazon Bedrock, Azure OpenAI, OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, Google Gemini, or similar platforms.
- Develop intelligent capabilities such as AI chat assistants, recommendations, semantic search, document summarization, workflow automation, and personalized user experiences.
- Design and implement Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions and enterprise knowledge retrieval capabilities.
- Work with embeddings, vector databases, semantic search technologies, AI agents, and tool-calling frameworks.
- Collaborate with AI, Data Engineering, and Backend teams to operationalize AI capabilities within mobile applications.
- Implement AI observability, monitoring, evaluation frameworks, governance controls, and performance optimization strategies.
- Design secure AI integrations while ensuring compliance with enterprise governance, privacy, and regulatory requirements.
- Protect AI-enabled applications against prompt injection, data leakage, inappropriate responses, and other common AI security risks.
- Monitor AI quality, user adoption, response accuracy, latency, model effectiveness, and cost optimization.
- Drive continuous improvement of AI-powered mobile experiences through analytics, experimentation, and user feedback.
Required:-
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline.
- 6-8+ years of software engineering experience with at least 3+ years of hands-on React Native mobile application development.
- Proven experience delivering enterprise-grade mobile applications for iOS and Android.
- Strong proficiency in React Native, TypeScript, JavaScript, ReactJS, HTML5, and CSS.
- Strong understanding of mobile application architecture, design patterns, and modern engineering principles.
- Proven experience integrating mobile applications with REST APIs, GraphQL APIs, and cloud-native services.
- Strong understanding of mobile performance optimization, memory management, debugging, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
- Experience developing automated testing frameworks using Jest, Detox, Appium, React Native Testing Library, or equivalent technologies.
- Experience building and delivering AI-enabled applications in production environments.
- Strong understanding of Generative AI, Agentic AI, LLMs, Prompt Engineering, AI Agents, and enterprise AI application patterns.
- Experience integrating AI platforms such as Amazon Bedrock, Azure OpenAI, OpenAI, Anthropic Claude, Gemini, or equivalent technologies.
- Knowledge of Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), embeddings, vector databases, semantic search, and AI evaluation frameworks.
- Experience implementing AI governance, AI guardrails, observability, monitoring, and responsible AI practices.
- Experience integrating Python-based AI services and backend APIs with mobile applications.
- Familiarity with native mobile development concepts using Swift, Objective-C, Kotlin, or Java.
- Experience publishing and maintaining applications in Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, source control, automated deployments, and DevOps practices.
- Familiarity with AWS and Azure cloud platforms and enterprise-scale architectures.
- Strong understanding of software security practices including authentication, authorization, encryption, secrets management, and secure application development.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
- Self-motivated and capable of independently owning solutions from concept through production support.
