Jeevan Raksha, a division of Proxima is seeking an experienced and purpose-driven Principal Consultant – Livelihood to lead its advisory and governance initiatives focused on enhancing the employability of unemployed graduates from rural India.
The role will primarily involve partnering with corporate organizations that have identified employability enhancement and livelihood creation as a key component of their Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) agenda. The Principal Consultant will work closely with corporate CSR teams, implementation partners, educational institutions, and NGOs to design, monitor, evaluate, and strengthen livelihood programs that create sustainable employment opportunities for rural youth.
The incumbent will serve as a trusted advisor to corporate clients, ensuring that CSR-funded employability initiatives are strategically designed, effectively governed, professionally executed, and aligned with measurable social impact outcomes
Purpose of the Role
To support corporate organizations in maximizing the impact of their CSR investments by:
- Designing sustainable livelihood and employability interventions.
- Strengthening governance frameworks for CSR-funded programs.
- Evaluating and monitoring NGO implementation partners.
- Ensuring efficient utilization of resources and achievement of program objectives.
- Enhancing employability outcomes for unemployed graduates in rural and semi-urban communities.
- Establishing robust measurement and reporting mechanisms for social impact

Desired Candidate Profile
- Master's Degree in Management, Social Work, Development Studies, Public Policy, Human Resources, Economics, Education, or related disciplines.
- Additional certifications in CSR, ESG, Livelihood Development, Impact Assessment, or Social Entrepreneurship would be advantages
- 15–25 years of experience in CSR, livelihood development, employability enhancement, social impact consulting, workforce development, NGO management, or development sector advisory.
- Proven experience in advising corporate CSR teams and managing multi-stakeholder programs.
- Strong understanding of rural development and employability ecosystems.
- Experience in governance, monitoring, evaluation, and impact assessment.
