Responsibilities
Data Loss Prevention (DLP) Operations
.Operate and maintain Microsoft Purview DLP policies in accordance with Client standards.
.Implement and manage DLP rules designed to limit sharing of sensitive data.
.Monitor and triage DLP alerts and violations.
.Validate false positives and adjust DLP tuning through approved change processes.
.Support remediation workflows for policy violations.
Digital Rights Management (DRM) Operations
.Operate and maintain Seclore DRM controls to protect intellectual property and sensitive data.
.Manage access permissions and encryption policies for protected documents.
.Support enforcement of DRM policies for internal and external sharing.
.Coordinate resolution of DRM-related access or policy issues.
Service Request & Change Management
.Fulfill data security-related service requests in accordance with SLAs.
.Execute approved DLP and DRM configuration changes under Client change management processes.
.Validate policy changes post-implementation and document results in ITSM systems.
.Coordinate with IAM, Email, and Cloud teams when data controls intersect with identity or SaaS environments.
Incident & Problem Management
.Participate in investigation of data exfiltration attempts or DLP-triggered events.
.Provide technical inputs for RCA documentation related to data security incidents.
.Identify recurring data policy violations and recommend corrective actions through formal channels.
.Support restoration and continuity procedures for in-scope data protection tools.
Audit, Logging & Compliance Support
.Maintain sufficient logs and operational artifacts to support audit requirements.
.Support requests for documentation and evidence related to DLP and DRM activities.
.Ensure relevant data protection logs are available for SIEM ingestion where directed.
.Maintain updated SOPs, runbooks, and configuration documentation.
.Provide inputs for monthly service level reporting as defined by Client.
Explicit Role Boundaries
.This role does not own enterprise data governance strategy.
.Data classification policy definition remains under Client governance.
.Strategic tool selection and architecture decisions remain outside this role's scope.
.Responsibilities are limited to defined operational and engineering activities in the Security Application Inventory


Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications
.Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Security, or equivalent experience.
.Preferred certifications:
.Microsoft Security certifications (e.g., SC-400 or equivalent practical experience)
.Experience in regulated enterprise environments preferred.

Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

.Good years of exp on enterprise security engineering experience.
.Strong hands-on operational expertise in:
.Microsoft Purview (DLP)
.Seclore (Digital Rights Management)
.Microsoft 365 Defender (data-related capabilities)
.Experience implementing and managing:
.Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies
.Data classification enforcement (operational level)
.Sensitive data monitoring and alert triage
.Encryption and DRM enforcement controls
.Experience working in regulated enterprise environments with audit and compliance requirements.
.Strong understanding of structured Change Management processes.
.Familiarity with log forwarding and SIEM integration (operational support level).
