Inviting applications for the role of Principal Consultant - IPT/Voice Support

Responsibilities

Reporting to the IS Operations Manager, Global Network Services the IP Telecommunications Engineer position is responsible for the delivery of network services in a global enterprise environment. The successful candidate must have a detailed knowledge of networking technology with a specialty in Voice over IP technology from Cisco. They must be team oriented and have strong leadership ability. The successful candidate will have a strong focus on attention to detail and will have the authority of character to make sure everything is done correctly and with integrity.

  • Manage and optimize Cisco Webex platforms and Control Hub.

  • Integrate Webex with enterprise systems (e.g., Active Directory)

  • Configuring and troubleshooting PSTN gateways on control hub

  • Core Administration and Provisioning Skills like user management (Adding, modifying, and deleting users (manual, CSV, directory synchronization like Active Directory or Azure AD).

  • Assigning and managing licenses (e.g., Webex Calling Professional, Basic).

  • Configuring user profiles, including names, email addresses, phone numbers, and extensions.

  • Setting up Single Sign-On (SSO) for seamless user authentication.

  • Location Management:Creating and managing locations within an organization ,Configuring location-specific settings like routing prefixes, internal extension lengths, and allowing extension dialing between locations& Managing PSTN gateways and ensuring their secure registration for calling.

  • Engineer should be able to trouble shoot Call quality issue (QOS) with help of control hub Analytics and Reporting tools.

  • It would be plus if engineer can configuring hybrid services for integration with on-premises infrastructure (e.g., Cisco Unified Communications Manager).

Qualifications
Minimum qualifications
Bachelor%27s Degree required. Preferably in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.

Strong technical knowledge on cloud telephony

Preferred qualifications
Strong communicator - English in spoken and written form.
