In this role, Individual will be responsible for Infrastructure Engineer responsibilities

Responsibilities
.Responsible for Storage administration (Netapp storage)
.Responsible for DFS Management & Support.
.Perform patching on Windows Server & Linux server
.Responsible for Windows Server Administration.
.Responsible for Hyper-V Administration.
.Responsible for Cloud Infrastructure Administration (Azure & AWS)
.Responsible for Server & Network uptime monitoring.
.Responsible for Vulnerability Remediation.
.Engineer, implement, configure, optimize, troubleshoot and resolve, test, maintain, and upgrade the platforms
.Conduct inventory of hardware/software and licenses.
.Work with Monitoring tools such as Logic Monitor or Science Logic to review alerts and add new devices to the monitoring tools.
.Work with Manage Engine for monthly patching tasks, creating reports, or automating tasks within the software. Remediate systems during patching require manual remediation.
.Develop, manage, and update SOPs for departmental tasks or activities.
.Accurately update comments and status to tickets via ticketing system.
.Document activities of the as-is environment. Log failures and exceptions using defined methods
.Work on scheduled maintenance, service-affecting activities and contingency work outside of regular business hours.
.Test end-to-end system recovery process and remediate flaws.
.Perform hardware Adds/Moves/Changes for hosting infrastructure (Servers and SAN)
.Provide storage infrastructure support for data replication to the Disaster Recovery site for requested applications.
.Provision storage and using established procedures and more efficiently through building new procedures
.Ensure all vulnerabilities are resolved prior to server delivery.

Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications
.Bachelor%27s Degree required. Preferably in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related fields.
.Excellent Communication and interpersonal Skills
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
.Experience in Storage configuration, upgrading & maintenance. (Netapp / EMC ISILON / Nimble / Qumulo / Rubrik)
.Well versed with DFS architecture concepts.
.Experience with Windows Server 2016 / 2022 / 2025 design, implementation and administration preferred.
.Experience with Linux server administration a plus.
.Experience with VMWare and Hyper-V, implementation and administration a plus.
.Experience with Isilon, Nimble, or NetApp NAS/SAN design, implementation and administration a plus.
.Strong PowerShell / WMI Scripting knowledge.
.Experience with monitoring tools, adding devices, creating reports/dashboards or scheduling downtime within the tools.
.Experience with Patch Management systems, discovering devices within it, reviewing/approving patches, creating jobs or adhoc reports, manually remediating problematic servers during patching activities.
.Experience using server automation, orchestration and configuration tools such as Ansible/Terraform/ENV0 a plus.
.IT certifications such as MCSA or MCSE a plus.
.Experience supporting Active Directory, DNS and GPO development.
.Experience with HP ProLiant and Dell%5CEMC servers.
.Knowledge of networking, Ethernet, TCP / IP and remote communications.
.Ability to troubleshoot issues using Wireshark and other network analysis tools.
.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
.Experience in high-availability, fast-paced environments.
.Good communications written & oral
.Work experience on-call and 24/7 work environment.
.Experience in alerts Monitoring & Major Incident management
.Experience in Server Administration & patching
