In this role, we are looking for a Digital Program/Project Manager with deep expertise in Salesforce platforms to lead strategic transformation programs across enterprise clients.
The Program/Project Manager - Salesforce is responsible for leading and delivering large-scale Salesforce programs that span multiple business units, geographies, and technology domains. This role combines program governance, strategic planning, stakeholder management, and delivery oversight to ensure Salesforce initiatives meet business objectives on time, within budget, and with high quality.
The Digital Program Manager will drive large-scale Salesforce programs that integrate Agentic AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and Accounts Payable (AP) process automation. This role requires a unique blend of Salesforce expertise, AI innovation, and finance domain knowledge to deliver intelligent, automated, and scalable digital solutions.
Responsibilities
Program Governance & Strategy
Define and lead the overall Salesforce program strategy and roadmap, ensuring alignment with corporate digital transformation goals.
Establish program governance frameworks, steering committees, and regular review mechanisms.
Manage end-to-end lifecycle of multi-phase Salesforce programs - from initiation to post-implementation stabilization.
Ensure adherence to enterprise architecture principles, data governance, and information security standards.
Track program KPIs, success metrics, and ROI to demonstrate business value realization.
AI-Driven Solutions:
Collaborate with AI/ML teams to design and implement intelligent workflow automation, and generative AI use cases within Salesforce (e.g., invoice processing, supplier interactions, predictive analytics).
Domain Focus:
Translate AP business requirements (invoice lifecycle, vendor management, approvals, GL coding) into Salesforce-based digital solutions.
Develop multi-phase roadmaps integrating Salesforce, AI models, and AP platforms to enable intelligent automation.
Program Planning & Execution
Develop detailed program plans, timelines, resource forecasts, and financial budgets.
Oversee execution across multiple Salesforce clouds (Sales, Service, Experience, Marketing, CPQ, Platform).
Coordinate with internal and external teams to manage dependencies and resolve conflicts.
Proactively identify risks, define mitigation strategies, and ensure issue resolution.
Drive quality assurance, release planning, and deployment readiness for all program deliverables.
Ensure programs are delivered on time, within scope, and in line with defined success criteria.
2. Stakeholder Management
Partner with business sponsors, process owners, and executives to align Salesforce capabilities with business priorities.
Serve as the bridge between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders, translating business needs into actionable program objectives.
Lead steering committee meetings, executive reviews, and key program communications.
Manage stakeholder expectations through transparent updates, dashboards, and progress reports.
3. Financial & Resource Management
Manage program budgets, forecasts, and vendor invoices, ensuring cost efficiency and financial transparency.
Track financial performance and resource utilization against plan.
Lead staffing strategies, team onboarding, and workforce allocation to balance priorities and ensure delivery continuity.
4. Risk, Compliance & Quality Assurance
Identify and manage program-level risks and interdependencies maintain risk registers and mitigation plans.
Ensure compliance with internal audit, IT governance, and security standards.
Oversee testing, validation, and post-deployment reviews to ensure system reliability and data integrity.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives for process optimization and delivery excellence.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration
Collaborate with Salesforce Architects, Product Owners, Developers, and Admins to ensure coherent design and delivery.
Work closely with Enterprise IT, Data, Integration, and Security teams to ensure system interoperability and compliance.
Partner with Change Management and Training teams to drive user adoption and readiness.
Oversee vendor engagements, contracts, and third-party consultants supporting the program.
6. Process Improvement & PMO Excellence
Lead process optimization efforts and continuous improvement initiatives.
Standardize templates, tools, and delivery frameworks across teams.
Enhance PMO maturity through automation, training, and best practice adoption.
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
Relevant years of experience in program/project management roles, with at least relevant experience of direct Salesforce program leadership.
Strong hands-on experience across Salesforce products: Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Marketing Cloud, or Industry Clouds.
Proven track record in delivering enterprise-scale Salesforce implementations (multi-cloud or multi-geo).
Strong understanding of Agentic AI architectures, Large Language Models, and their enterprise applications.
Deep understanding of Salesforce ecosystem, AppExchange solutions Salesforce integrations (REST/SOAP APIs, MuleSoft, etc)
Solid knowledge of Accounts Payable processes and finance operations.
Expertise in Agile/Hybrid project management methodologies and budget/resource planning.
Familiarity with data migration, Lightning components, and declarative automation (Flow, Process Builder).
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Certified Administrator, Advanced Administrator, or PMP + Salesforce Certified Associate.
Agile or Program Management certifications - PMP, PgMP, SAFe, or PMI-ACP.
Prior experience in large transformation programs, CRM modernization, or digital initiatives.
Proven experience leading complex, enterprise-scale Salesforce implementations (multi-cloud, multi-region, or multi-org).
Strong understanding of Salesforce ecosystem, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, CPQ, and Marketing Cloud.
Familiarity with Salesforce architecture, data models, and integration patterns.
Exposure to DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, Agile delivery, and testing methodologies.
Exposure to GenAI tools (OpenAI, Anthropic, Azure OpenAI) and workflow orchestration platforms.
Experience with integration tools (MuleSoft, Informatica, Boomi) and data governance frameworks.
Experience working in domains like BFSI, Healthcare, CPG, or Manufacturing is a plus.
Program Management Competencies
Exceptional skills in program governance, budgeting, scheduling, and reporting.
Experience managing global programs with cross-functional and distributed teams.
Proficiency with tools like JIRA, Smartsheet, MS Project, or Clarity PPM.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and vendors simultaneously.
Excellent understanding of Agile, Scrum, and hybrid delivery frameworks.
