Inviting applications for the role of Principal Consultant- Business Analyst
We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst (BA) with strong knowledge of Depository Services within Banking to support digital transformation, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency initiatives. The role involves working closely with business stakeholders, technology teams, operations, and external depositories to define, document, and deliver high-quality solutions.
The ideal candidate should have hands-on exposure to demat accounts, securities settlement, corporate actions, KYC/AML compliance, and regulatory reporting.
Responsibilities
1. Requirement Gathering & Analysis
.Engage with Depository Operations, Compliance, Risk, and IT teams.
.Conduct workshops to gather business requirements.
.Translate business needs into:
oBRD (Business Requirement Document)
oFRD (Functional Requirement Document)
oUser Stories (Agile)
.Define clear acceptance criteria and success metrics.

2. Depository Domain Expertise
.Understand and analyze:
oDemat account opening & maintenance
oISIN creation and management
oTrade settlement (T+1/T+2 cycles)
oCorporate actions (dividends, bonus, rights issues, splits)
oPledge/Unpledge processing
oOff-market and on-market transfers
.Coordinate with depository participants and clearing corporations.

oSEBI / RBI regulations (India context)
oKYC/AML requirements
oFATCA/CRS reporting
.Support audit requirements and regulatory submissions.
.Maintain traceability matrix for compliance tracking.
