Inviting applications for the role of Principal Consultant - Azure
Responsibilities:
Deploy, manage and monitor system performance and ensure high availability and reliability of Azure IaaS solutions including virtual machines, networking, storage, and security.
Administer and maintain Linux-based systems within Azure environments.
Utilize monitoring tools to track system health and performance.
Leverage Azure Advisor to optimize resources and enhance security and performance.
Implement vulnerability mitigation strategies and maintain secure configurations.
Apply FinOps practices to manage cloud financial operations and optimize costs.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure issues.
Maintain documentation and provide technical guidance to junior engineers.
Implement and manage Azure services such as Azure Resource Manager, Azure Monitor, Azure Backup, and Azure Site Recovery.
Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using tools like Azure CLI, PowerShell, and ARM templates.
Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices for cloud infrastructure.
Stay up-to-date with the latest Azure features and industry trends to recommend improvements and innovations.
Implement and manage Kubernetes clusters and containerized workloads in Azure.
Apply CIS hardening guidelines to ensure secure configurations across systems.
Integrate and manage Azure Databricks for big data analytics and machine learning workloads.
Design and orchestrate data workflows using Azure Data Factory.
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications/Skills
Bachelor%27s Degree required. Preferably in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field Experienced
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
Good Experience in IT infrastructure in Azure IaaS.
Strong expertise in managing Linux systems in a cloud environment.
In-depth knowledge of Azure services including compute, storage, networking, and
security.
Experience with automation and scripting using Azure CLI, PowerShell, or other tools.
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and in a team.
Strong communication and documentation skills.
