SRS Business Solutions India is looking for a strategic and experienced Principal Consultant/Associate Principal Consultant to join our team as a Product Owner. This is a critical hybrid role for individuals with a proven track record in driving product development from inception to launch, focusing on long-term vision, market trends, and delivering incremental improvements.
Role Description
As a Product Owner, you will be a strategic leader responsible for driving the development, launch, and ongoing support of a company's products. You will focus on long-term vision, market trends, and identifying new opportunities. Working closely with the Chief Product Officer (CPO), you will define specific incremental improvements to be managed across different squads.
Key Responsibilities
- Market Analysis & Opportunity Identification: Analyze market trends, monitor competitors, and identify new opportunities within organizational processes.
- Product Vision & Strategy: Set an ambitious and clear product vision, communicating it effectively to stakeholders, the team, and the rest of the unit.
- End-to-End Product Strategy: Own the end-to-end team output strategy, from initial inception through to production.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate closely with stakeholders to ensure the digital vision and products align seamlessly with value streams.
- KPI Accountability: Be accountable for product-specific KPIs once a solution enters production and communicate regular tracking updates to stakeholders.
- User Story & Backlog Management: Utilize market and industry knowledge to translate user needs into clear user stories and acceptance criteria for your team. Maintain a well-groomed backlog, ideally 3 to 4 sprints ahead of the team.
- Business Value & Messaging: Work closely with the CPO to establish each product's business value and support messaging, communication, and customer outreach as necessary.
- User-Centric Design: Integrate usability studies and research into product requirements to enhance user satisfaction and ensure customer-driven design.
Previous Experience
- Overall Experience: 11+ years of overall experience.
- Relevant Experience: 2 to 3 years of experience in roles with similar Product Management/Owner responsibilities.
