Inviting applications for the role of Principal Consultant, Aladdin Platform Lead

In this role, you will be responsible for coding, testing and delivering high quality deliverables, and should be willing to learn new technologies.

Responsibilities

• Provide deep hands-on expertise across the Aladdin ecosystem, including:

• Portfolio construction

• Performance attribution

• Risk analytics

• Compliance

• Order/execution management

• Partner with stakeholders across the Asset and Wealth Management value chain, covering multiple client segments, investment products, and operating models.

• Act as a subject matter expert in at least one Front/Middle Office focus area, such as:

• Risk & Analytics

• Compliance & Regulation

• Portfolio Management

• Trading

• Operations

• Client Reporting

• Transaction/Position/Cash Reconciliation

• Data Management & Governance

• Work with Aladdin Data (AIM, APT, Data Warehouse), APIs, and data extracts to integrate Aladdin with trading, accounting, and market-data platforms.

• Build and customize Aladdin dashboards, automate workflows, and troubleshoot platform issues using SQL, Python, and reporting tools.

• Translate investment and business needs into operating and technology design requirements.

• Ensure data governance, data quality, and data modeling across investment data domains (transaction, position, security, ABOR/IBOR).

Qualifications we seek in you!

Minimum Qualifications

• BE/B Tech/MCA

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Basic understanding of Investment Management/financial services domain knowledge

Preferred qualifications

• Experience with Aladdin Data Cloud, AIM, and APT integration.

• Familiarity with cloud-based architectures such as Snowflake, Azure, or AWS.

• Ability to design scalable solutions that align with investment operations and technology strategy.

• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and reporting tools for workflow automation and dashboard customization.

• Proven hands-on experience with Aladdin platform modules (portfolio construction, risk analytics, compliance, execution management).

• Strong understanding of the Asset/Wealth Management value chain and investment products across Equities, Fixed Income, Derivatives, and Alternatives.

• Expertise in at least one Front/Middle Office domain (Risk, Compliance, Portfolio Management, Trading, Operations, Client Reporting, Reconciliation, Data Governance).

• Strong foundation in data governance, data quality management, and data modeling.

• Solid knowledge of data integration with trading, accounting, and market-data platforms.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to bridge business and technical requirements.

• Prior experience in multi-client, multi-product investment environments.
