The Principal Basis Consultant will take a leading role in SAP cloud migrations and ongoing SAP operations. You will collaborate with Technical Architects and lead a global team to deliver high-quality migrations, contributing to the development of automation tools and methodologies while mentoring junior consultants. This role requires a hands-on approach with a focus on innovation, leadership, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of Basis Consultants to deliver SAP migrations to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Support the Technical Architects in designing high-quality customer solutions.
- Provide leadership and technical support for SAP systems migrated to the cloud, proactively implementing solutions to avoid future issues and reduce costs.
- Coordinate with internal and client teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Identify opportunities for additional services and solution deployment to enhance customer value.
- Lead the development and deployment of automation tools to streamline Basis and infrastructure tasks.
- Mentor and support junior consultants, ensuring the continuous growth of the team s skills and expertise.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Extensive experience as an SAP Basis Consultant in a consulting environment.
- Proven ability to lead teams and deliver successful project outcomes.
- Strong experience in planning, reporting, and applying governance to ensure control over project activities.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience in budget management and handling complex assignments with minimal supervision.
- Ability to conduct Technical Assessments and Operational Assessments on larger SAP environments.
- Experience working with offshore and nearshore teams.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within globally diverse teams.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud platforms.
