About the Team
The Research & Insights team at Myntra is responsible for all consumer research and insights across functions. The team partners with Marketing, Category, Product, and Strategy to solve business questions through consumer research and analytics.
Role Overview
Principal Associate will lead qualitative and quantitative research studies (primarily qualitative) and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders. The role requires guiding marketing decisions through structured storytelling and actionable insights.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead complex research projects with accountability, ownership, and timely delivery.
- Manage end-to-end design and execution of multiple research projects, from problem definition to actionable insights.
- Apply structured problem-solving and appropriate tools/techniques to deliver meaningful solutions.
- Ensure robustness of market research initiatives to predict consumer behavior and market trends within budget.
- Integrate syndicated/secondary data with consumer findings to craft compelling narratives.
- Communicate insights to stakeholders and leadership in a structured, data-driven manner to influence decisions.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external research vendors; onboard new partners to strengthen the ecosystem.
Qualifications & Experience
- 57 years of experience in consumer research and insights, ideally across both agency and client-side roles.
- Post-graduate degree in Marketing, Statistics, or Engineering.
- Strong knowledge of research methodologies and techniques.
- Excellent communication and writing skills; ability to articulate insights clearly.
- Proficiency in creating visually appealing project decks with charts, tables, and compelling storylines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; attention to detail and ability to view problems from multiple perspectives.
- Ability to distill insights from data and present them effectively.
- Experience working in fast-paced, high-stress environments with sound judgment.
- Capability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in an organized manner.
- Experience collaborating across functions and levels, including senior stakeholders.
- Self-motivated, driven, and able to perform with minimal guidance while being a team player.
- Familiarity with the fashion commerce industry is preferred.
