Key Skills Pre-Sales (Solutions Technical Specialist )

Solution Design & Architecture

  • Pre-sales solutioning for SD-WAN, LAN, Core Network, Multi cloud connect and Enterprise Wi-Fi.
  • Workable knowledge on SDWAN, security solution , SSE ( SASE )
  • Ability to design scalable, resilient, and cost-effective network architectures aligned with customer business requirements.
  • Creation of High Level Design (HLD) and solution architecture documents.

Pre-Sales Engagement & Bid Management

  • Ownership of RFP, RFI, and SOW responses, including technical write-ups and compliance mapping.
  • Preparation & Validation of Bills of Quantity (BoQ), solution sizing, and commercial inputs in coordination with sales teams.
  • Technical validation of customer requirements during pre-bid and post-bid discussions.
  • Engaging with customer pre rfp stage and prepare specs

Customer Interaction & Presentations

  • Conducting customer presentations, defense presentation, solution walkthroughs, and technical workshops.
  • Creating POV documents based on customer requirements.
  • Performing assessment assignments remotely or at customer premises.
  • Ability to articulate complex technical concepts in a simple, business-oriented manner
  • Supporting sales teams in customer discussions, clarifications, and solution justification
  • Leading technical workshops with customer.
  • Presenting POV during various marketing events.

OEM & Internal CFT Collaboration

  • Active interaction with OEMs for solution design validation, sizing guidelines, and best practices.
  • Coordination with Engineering and Delivery teams to ensure proposed solutions are feasible, scalable, and supportable
  • Acting as a bridge between Sales, OEMs, and Engineering throughout the bid lifecycle
  • Work closely with Product team to enhance the offering based on customer inputs.

Value Engineering & Risk Management

  • Cost optimization and value engineering without compromising performance and scalability
  • Identification of solution risks, assumptions, and caveats; documentation in SDD/SOW for customer sign-off
  • Design & Work on non vanila solutions and work with CFT to regularize .

Experience & Certification

10 years of working experience in Network , security , cloud domain.

5 Years experience in presales field.

Expert level certification in one of the domain and 1 proficient level certification on Network. SDWAN, SASE, Security. Certification like CCIE (R&S or SP Or Security), CCNP-SDWAN, Fortinet SDWAN, CCNP Security, Zscaler SSE.

Working knowledge on Cisco. Versa, Fortinet , PA, Silver peak. Azzure , AWS , GCP, Aviatrix.
