About The Role

Job Title: Senior Python Architect

Responsibilities

• Designing and building REST APIs with FastAPI
• Working with asynchronous programming and long-running job execution
• Reading, reverse-engineering, and translating large PL/SQL codebases
• Data modeling and query optimization in Oracle database
• Designing, deploying, and running Python services on AWS
• Integrating with React front end and maintaining clean API contracts
• Modernizing and migrating legacy systems to modern Python services
• Setting target-state design, NFRs, ADRs, and engineering standards
• Utilizing Git/GitHub, CI/CD, automated testing, and containerization
• Leading software engineering projects as a senior architect
  
  

Required Skills

• Expertise in Python 3.10+ with strong design and OOP/functional fundamentals
• Deep experience with FastAPI, Pydantic, and ASGI servers
• Strong command of asyncio, async/await, and concurrency
• Expertise in PL/SQL, SQL, and Oracle database
• Hands-on experience with AWS services like Lambda, ECS/EKS, RDS, S3, and IAM
• Full-stack awareness and integration with React front end
• Proven track record in application modernization and migration
• Demonstrated experience as a solution/application architect
• Proficiency in Git/GitHub, CI/CD, automated testing, and containerization
• 10+ years in software engineering with 4+ years in a senior architect role
