Principal AI Engineer

Job Summary:

Looking for a hands-on AI Solution Architect to lead the design and delivery of advanced AI solutions and drive the organization's AI solutions roadmap. You will define the AI solutions roadmap, collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities, and architect scalable, impactful AI systems and ensure robust technical execution from concept to deployment.

Job Description:

Solution Architecture & Technical Leadership

● Architect scalable, secure, production-grade Generative AI and Agentic AI solutions across enterprise use cases.

● Translate business problems and client requirements into solution architecture, technical designs, implementation plans, and engineering roadmaps.

● Define end-to-end architectures covering applications, AI agents, LLMs, data, knowledge, APIs, integration, security, observability, evaluation, and cloud infrastructure.

● Drive architecture decisions and technical trade-offs across build, buy, reuse, and platform approaches.

● Establish architecture patterns, engineering standards, guardrails, and reusable solution blueprints.

● Ensure solutions meet enterprise requirements for scalability, reliability, security, governance, performance, and maintainability.

Generative & Agentic AI

● Design solutions leveraging LLMs, RAG, Graph RAG, multi-agent architectures, tool calling, MCP, context engineering, and AI orchestration frameworks.

● Architect agentic workflows where AI agents can reason, retrieve enterprise knowledge, interact with tools and systems, and execute business processes.

● Design enterprise knowledge architectures integrating structured and unstructured information.

● Define approaches for prompt engineering, retrieval optimization, reranking, evaluation, grounding, response governance, and hallucination mitigation.

● Evaluate emerging AI models, frameworks, tools, and architectural patterns and determine their applicability to enterprise solutions.

Tenarai Labs & Ignis Solution Engineering

● Leverage and extend Ignis capabilities to accelerate solution development and client delivery.

● Architect solutions using capabilities across the Ignis ecosystem, including enterprise agentic execution, Enterprise Knowledge Graph, harness engineering, intelligence experiences, and data modernization.

● Identify opportunities to convert client-specific implementations into reusable assets, accelerators, reference architectures, components, and solution patterns for Tenarai Labs.

● Collaborate with Tenarai Labs engineering and platform teams to influence capability and product roadmaps based on real-world client requirements.

● Drive rapid prototyping and incubation of new AI solutions and transition successful prototypes into enterprise-grade implementations.

Client Discovery & Consulting

● Lead technical discovery workshops with client business, architecture, data, engineering, and technology teams.

● Understand business objectives and identify opportunities where AI, agentic systems, data, and automation can create measurable business value.

● Develop solution approaches, architecture options, effort estimates, technical proposals, and implementation roadmaps.

● Present architecture and technical recommendations to client leadership and architecture stakeholders.

● Support pre-sales, solutioning, technical demonstrations, proposals, and client activation initiatives.

Engineering & Productionization

● Guide teams through architecture, development, integration, testing, evaluation, deployment, and production rollout.

● Ensure AI prototypes and POCs have a clear path toward scalable, production-ready solutions.

● Define appropriate APIs, microservices, data pipelines, vector stores, knowledge layers, orchestration patterns, and integration mechanisms.

● Establish AI evaluation and observability approaches covering quality, latency, cost, reliability, safety, and business outcomes.

● Conduct architecture and code reviews and resolve complex technical challenges during implementation.

Technical Leadership & Mentoring

● Provide technical leadership to AI engineers, solution engineers, data engineers, FDEs, and other multidisciplinary teams.

● Mentor engineers and architects on AI architecture, engineering practices, solution design, and production readiness.

● Facilitate knowledge sharing and contribute to architecture communities, reusable assets, technical playbooks, and engineering standards.

● Stay current with advances in AI and rapidly evaluate technologies that could strengthen Tenarai Labs and Ignis solutions.
