Job Description

We are seeking a highly experienced and hands on Engineering lead to design, build and lead the development of a cutting-edge Agentic AI and Modern workflow platform for the the enterprise. This platform will enable Agentic AI, streamline workflows, consolidate multiple systems and promote AI best practices across the organization. As the Core Engineering lead, you will drive the architecture and hands-on buildout of Workflow Orchestration, agent lifecycle - from creation, harness engineering to A2A support, multi-runtime deployment, infrastructure/ SRE practices with production-grade observability, ensure the platform is scalable, secure and aligned with business goals. This is a role for someone who wants to build the future of enterprise agentic AI at scale.

This is a senior technical leadership role that requires a combination of full-stack development expertise, Agentic AI, AI/ML knowledge and cloud platform experience(Azure or AWS). Due to the role requirements this job needs to be performed primarily in the office with some flex work opportunities available.

What you will be responsible for

  • Design and build the Agent lifecycle management, ADK development, harness engineering, and scaffolding for agents across multiple runtimes.
  • Scale the agent platform to support concurrent and parallel invocation of high volume and low latency execution across runtimes
  • Own the workflow orchestration engine / BPMN runtime and all NFRs including scalability, resilience, and HITL integration
  • Build and evolve event-driven architecture, multi-cloud services enablement, and CI/CD pipelines for agent deployment (blue/green, canary)
  • Implement A2A (Agent-to-Agent) protocols and support industry evolutions on agentic frameworks (Google ADK, MCP, etc.)
  • Build platform observability dashboards, runtime SRE models, and AIOps incident response capabilities
  • Implement the admin layer: kill switch, configuration management, IAM, and entitlement controls for agents
  • Collaborate with Products & Science pillar on designer buildout, evaluation frameworks and other guardrails integration.
  • Hands-On Leadership:
    • Lead by example, contributing hands-on to the development of critical platform components
    • Mentor and guide junior team members fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
  • Cloud and Modern Technologies:
    • Leverage cloud to build and deploy the platform ensuring optimal performance, security and cost-efficiency
    • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI/ML, cloud computing and full stack development to drive continuous improvements
  • Risk and Compliance:
    • Ensure the platform adheres to regulatory standards and risk management practices relevant to the asset servicing industry.

What we value

Required skills and qualifications

  • Overall 18+ years of relevant experience
  • Hands on working knowledge of handling large scale distributed systems in Production
  • Deep expertise in Python, Java, or Go with strong systems design fundamentals
  • Experience with agentic AI frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph, Strands or equivalent)
  • Strong understanding of event-driven architectures (Kafka or others)
  • Proficiency with AWS services (Lambda, ECS/EKS, Step Functions, S3, SQS/SNS) and CI/CD tooling
  • Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, CDK)
  • Familiarity with LLM inference platforms, model routing, and responsible AI gateway patterns
  • Prior experience in financial services or regulated environments is a strong plus
  • Strong experience in software development, platform engineering or system architecture with proven track record of building and leading large scale platforms.
  • Prior experience in AI/ML platform development and AI workflows is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in cloud platforms ( Azure, AWS or GCP ) Expertise in modern full stack technologies
