Job Description.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver interactive science lessons for primary students following the Cambridge/IGCSE curriculum.
- Create a stimulating and inquiry-based classroom environment that encourages experimentation and exploration.
- Use hands-on activities, experiments, and projects to make scientific concepts engaging and understandable.
- Assess and monitor student progress through assignments, observations, and formative assessments.
- Integrate STEM-based learning approaches and real-world applications of science.
- Maintain proper lab safety practices during experiments and practical activities.
- Collaborate with other teachers to support interdisciplinary and project-based learning.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and development.
- Participate in school events, exhibitions, science fairs, and professional development programs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Science (B.Sc./M.Sc.) with B.Ed.
- Experience teaching Primary Science in Cambridge/IGCSE curriculum preferred.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Passion for student-centered and inquiry-based learning.
