Primary Mathematics Teacher

We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Primary Mathematics Teacher to join our academic team and inspire young learners to develop a strong foundation in mathematics.

The ideal candidate will have experience teaching primary-level mathematics, with exposure to Cambridge and/or IB curricula and a strong understanding of student-centred, inquiry-based learning approaches.

• Plan and deliver engaging, concept-driven Mathematics lessons for primary students.
• Develop students numerical fluency, problem-solving, reasoning, and critical-thinking skills.
• Use hands-on activities, real-world contexts, manipulatives, and technology to make Mathematics meaningful and engaging.
• Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs and abilities.
• Plan and implement formative and summative assessments to monitor and support student progress.
• Provide constructive feedback and targeted support to learners.
• Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning, interdisciplinary learning, and school initiatives.
• Maintain a positive, inclusive classroom environment that encourages curiosity, confidence, and a growth mindset.
• Engage in professional development and contribute to the wider academic life of the school.

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Mathematics, or a related field; teaching qualification preferred.
• Experience teaching Mathematics at the primary level.
• Exposure to Cambridge Primary and/or IB PYP curriculum.
• Understanding of inquiry-based, concept-based, and student-centred learning.
• Strong communication, classroom management, and collaboration skills.
• Passion for working with young learners and supporting their academic and personal development.
