Primary English Teacher – Cambridge Curriculum (Grades 3 to 5)

Role Overview
We are looking for a passionate and engaging Primary English Teacher to deliver the Cambridge Primary English curriculum for Grades 3 to 5. The role involves building strong language foundations through reading, writing, speaking, and listening, while fostering creativity, critical thinking, and a love for literature.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging English lessons aligned with the Cambridge Primary framework.
- Develop students skills in reading comprehension, grammar, vocabulary, writing, and oral communication.
- Use differentiated teaching strategies to cater to diverse learning needs.
- Encourage creativity through storytelling, creative writing, and class discussions.
- Design lesson plans, worksheets, and assessments in line with Cambridge standards.
- Conduct regular formative and summative assessments.
- Track student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
- Promote independent thinking and collaborative learning.
- Integrate technology and innovative teaching methods where appropriate.
- Work closely with coordinators and fellow teachers for curriculum planning.
- Participate in school activities, events, and professional development programs.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and development.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in English or related field (B.Ed. preferred).
- 2–5 years of teaching experience in Primary Grades (3–5).
- Prior experience with Cambridge Curriculum is highly preferred.
