Key Responsibilities- Plan and deliver engaging Computer Science / ICT lessons aligned with the Cambridge Primary Curriculum
- Introduce students to basic computing concepts, including:
- Computer fundamentals
- Coding and programming basics (Scratch, block-based coding)
- Digital literacy and internet safety
- Foster logical thinking, problem-solving, and creativity through technology
- Integrate hands-on activities, projects, and interactive tools in teaching
- Use age-appropriate platforms to teach coding and computational thinking
- Assess and track student progress through assignments, projects, and tests
- Maintain student records and provide regular feedback to parents
- Ensure safe and responsible use of technology in the classroom
- Collaborate with teachers to integrate technology across subjects
- Participate in school events, exhibitions, and tech-based activities
Qualifications & Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science / IT / related field
- B.Ed. (mandatory)
- Minimum 25 years of teaching experience in IGCSE / IB / ICSE / CBSE schools
- Knowledge of Cambridge ICT / Computing Curriculum preferred
- Familiarity with tools such as Scratch, basic Python, MS Office, Google Workspace
- Strong command of English communication
