- Deliver compliant, professionally produced, technically sound, and market-representative commercial responses for RFI/RFP/RFQ.
- Independently manage deal pricing and develop pricing strategies.
- Build and update commercial models for new opportunities, scope extensions, and renewals, including scenario analysis and price walks.
- Prepare pricing documents such as presentations, emails, use cases, and collaterals for internal evaluation and client submissions.
- Liaise with key stakeholders including sales, marketing, finance, commercial, legal, delivery, and external consultants during proposals.
- Obtain timely approvals to meet corporate guidelines and deadlines.
- Take ownership of financial numbers and ensure pricing strategies align with sales pitch, solution, and client requirements.
- Innovate around revenue recognition, cost forecasting, capitalization, amortization, termination calculations, and similar activities.
- Contribute to effort estimates, transition estimates, productivity matrices, due diligence questionnaires, and contract terms (MSAs, SOWs).
- Validate costings from different teams through benchmark analysis and ROI assessment.
- Drive commercial discussions and provide accurate answers to stakeholder queries with on-the-fly analysis.
Ancillary Responsibilities:
- Plan and report sales/revenue pipeline periodically and flag potential shortfalls.
- Support BD and Solution teams to ensure high win rates.
- Facilitate and contribute to Deal Reviews, Business Research, and domain-specific solution offerings.
- Author proposals with insight on transition, technology fitment, delivery model, solutions, commercials, risks, and mitigations.
- Maintain bid management materials, use cases, and collaterals.
- Track industry trends, client requirements, and conduct competitive analysis.
- Develop Go-To-Market strategies by understanding the industry landscape and working with senior leadership.
- Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities within existing accounts.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- MBA from a reputed institute or CFA with CA (Inter) / BBA / BE or graduate in commerce, economics, business, or finance.
- 811 years overall work experience, with a minimum of 4 years in a similar role or in investment research, F&A, valuation, corporate finance, or budgeting.
- Strong understanding of P&L, cash flows, provisioning, and budgeting.
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Ability to handle multiple projects under high pressure and strict deadlines.
- Strong number-crunching, analytical, and quick learning skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders.
- Experience in leading and managing bids and authoring proposals, especially in business outsourcing.
- Exposure to Communication, Media, and Technology sectors, and understanding of the outsourcing industry is preferred.
