This is a critical role as we expand DDG coverage across additional products, regions, and deal motions. The analyst will act as a day-to-day owner of tool logic, workflows, and user support while partnering closely with Pricing, Deal Desk, Sales Ops, and IT.
What is Dynamic Deal Guidance (DDG)
Dynamic Deal Guidance (DDG) is an internal pricing decision tool that provides
real-time guidance to sales teams during deal structuring. It applies approved pricing guardrails, discount thresholds, and business rules to promote
consistent, scalable, and profitable deal execution across products and regions. As DDG continues to expand globally, dedicated support is required to ensure accuracy, governance, and reliability.
Key ResponsibilitiesDG Tool Maintenance & Enhancements
- Maintain and update DDG pricing logic, thresholds, and business rules on a quarterly release cycle using Alteryx.
- Support and enhance Microsoft Power Apps used to surface DDG outputs to sales and deal desk users.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to logic, data inputs, outputs, and user experience.
- Perform testing and validation of logic changes prior to release to ensure accuracy and governance compliance.
User Support & Adoption
- Manage the DDG help desk for sales, deal desk, and revenue teams, providing timely and accurate issue resolution.
- Diagnose user issues spanning Alteryx workflows, Power Apps behavior, and upstream/downstream data dependencies.
- Partner with Sales Enablement and Pricing to support adoption, training, and rollout of new functionality.
Monitoring, Insights & Continuous Improvement
- Monitor DDG usage and adoption trends; identify opportunities to improve performance, usability, and scalability.
- Partner with Pricing and Sales Ops to translate business requirements into tool enhancements.
- Support expansion of DDG to new products, deal types, and pricing motions over time.
