We are seeking a skilled Preventive Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical maintenance with a focus on preventive measures to ensure the reliability and efficiency of our machinery and equipment.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify potential issues.
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks to ensure optimal functionality and longevity of equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical problems in a timely manner.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance work performed and inventory of spare parts.
- Collaborate with other team members to develop maintenance schedules and improve operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices in maintenance procedures.
- Assist in training and mentoring junior mechanics and apprentices.
Skills and Qualifications
- 5-10 years of experience in mechanical maintenance or related field.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, machinery, and equipment.
- Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance techniques and practices.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
- Certification in mechanical maintenance or a related field is a plus.
