We are seeking a skilled Preventive Maintenance Engineer to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in developing and implementing maintenance strategies to prevent equipment failures and ensure optimal operation of machinery.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on machinery and equipment.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure optimal performance.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment failures and recommend solutions.
- Document maintenance activities and maintain records of repairs and inspections.
- Collaborate with other engineering teams to improve equipment reliability.
- Train and mentor junior maintenance staff on best practices.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 5-10 years of experience in preventive maintenance engineering or a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, and electrical systems.
- Familiarity with maintenance management software and tools.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
