Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Engineer for our Press Shop Maintenance team. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the maintenance and repair of press shop equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety in our manufacturing environment. This role involves working closely with experienced engineers and technicians to carry out maintenance activities, troubleshooting equipment issues, and assisting in continuous improvement initiatives on the shop floor.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the maintenance and repair of hydraulic and mechanical presses, conveyor systems, and other related equipment.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to minimize downtime and enhance equipment reliability.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions, recommending appropriate solutions.
- Assist in the installation of new equipment and upgrades to existing machines.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work performed and parts used.
- Collaborate with team members to identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency gains.
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols and practices in the workplace.
- Participate in training and development programs to enhance technical skills and knowledge of equipment.

Skills and Qualifications:
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering.
- Familiarity with maintenance procedures and principles related to mechanical and hydraulic systems.
- Basic understanding of electrical systems and automated controls is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving skills and analytical abilities to tackle equipment issues.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to maintenance tasks.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.

Tools and Technologies Required:
- Knowledge of maintenance management systems (CMMS).
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Familiarity with safety equipment and practices in a manufacturing environment.
- Basic software skills for documentation and reporting (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
