Job Description

Well versed in forging operations and shop floor practices.
Hands-on experience in the forging industry with exposure to heavy engineering/manufacturing environments.
Sound understanding of forging processes, parameters, and production requirements.
Ability to independently manage shift operations and achieve production targets.
Good knowledge of forging equipment, presses, manipulators, furnaces, and material handling systems.
Capable of coordinating with Maintenance teams for preventive and breakdown maintenance activities.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills related to forging operations.
Ability to carry out Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and implement corrective actions for process-related issues.
Knowledge of TPM, 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement practices.
Capable of identifying and driving productivity, quality, cost, and efficiency improvement initiatives.
Good understanding of safety standards and shop floor safety practices.
Effective manpower handling, team coordination, and work allocation skills.
Quick learner with positive attitude and strong ownership mindset.
Good communication skills with ability to converse in Hindi and prepare reports in English.
Proficient in MS Office tools such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Good presentation and reporting skills.
Ability to coordinate effectively with Production, Quality, Planning, and Maintenance departments.
Strong interpersonal skills with a professional personality and collaborative approach.
Results-oriented with focus on operational excellence, quality, and customer requirements.
Willingness to work in shifts and handle shop floor responsibilities independently.
