About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Presales Specialist Travel & Hospitality to drive AI-first transformation strategies for enterprise clients across the hospitality ecosystem. The role involves leading presales engagements, shaping AI-driven solutions, and building domain-focused capabilities to support strategic growth within the Travel & Hospitality vertical.
The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in hospitality platforms, digital transformation initiatives, and AI/GenAI-led solutioning with the ability to engage senior stakeholders and lead high-value pursuits.
Key Responsibilities
1. Domain Strategy & Thought Leadership
- Develop domain expertise across hospitality systems such as PMS, GMS, loyalty platforms, guest operations, and property management systems.
- Build Point of Views (PoVs) and Go-to-Market (GTM) narratives aligned with modernization, digital guest experiences, and AI transformation.
- Identify capability gaps and white spaces across Travel & Hospitality sub-domains and align with Annual Operating Plan (AOP).
- Provide industry insights and contribute to thought leadership initiatives.
2. Presales & Deal Leadership
- Lead end-to-end RFP responses, proposals, solution design, workshops, and client presentations.
- Engage SMEs across hospitality sub-verticals such as hotels, OTAs, airlines, and cruise lines.
- Work closely with sales teams to develop compelling value propositions and win large enterprise deals.
3. AI-Led Solutioning
- Design AI/GenAI-driven solutions for hospitality operations including:
- Guest personalization and experience optimization
- AI concierge assistants and chatbots
- Revenue operations prediction and optimization
- Translate conceptual solutions into deployable solution assets with engineering, data, and AI teams.
- Develop AI-based narratives focusing on guest delight, revenue growth, and operational efficiency.
4. Team & SME Management
- Mentor and guide Solution Architects, Business Analysts, and SMEs supporting presales pursuits.
- Maintain domain-to-SME mapping to ensure optimal resource utilization and knowledge reuse.
- Drive capability building through targeted training aligned with business growth goals.
5. Sales & Marketing Collaboration
- Partner with sales and marketing teams to create pitch decks, pursuit messaging, and campaign content.
- Represent the Travel & Hospitality vertical in industry events and strategic client engagements.
- Track success metrics including win rates, IP reuse, pipeline growth, and SME coverage.
Required Skills & Experience
- 20+ years of experience in IT services / consulting.
- Minimum 5+ years in Travel & Hospitality domain.
- Strong understanding of hospitality systems including:
- PMS (Property Management Systems)
- Guest Management Systems (GMS)
- Loyalty & CRM platforms
- Booking engines and guest journey platforms
- Experience designing AI/GenAI transformation use cases.
- Strong client engagement, solution architecture, and executive communication skills.
- Experience leading large presales engagements and strategic pursuits.
Good to Have
- Exposure to cloud platforms, AI frameworks, and data platforms.
- Experience working with OTAs, airlines, cruise lines, or hospitality technology providers.
- Certifications in hospitality management, digital transformation, or consulting frameworks.
