Job Title: Presales Specialist – US Federal & SLED (IT Services)

Location: Gurugram (Onsite)

Experience: 0–2 Years (Freshers can apply)

Employment Type: Full-time

Shift Timing – US (9AM-5PM EST) / IND (7PM IST-4AM IST)

About the Role

We are hiring high-potential fresh graduates for the role of Presales Specialist to support our expansion in the US Federal and SLED (State, Local, and Education) markets.

This role is ideal for candidates interested in IT services, research, consulting, and public sector sales. You will work closely with senior presales, capture, and sales teams to identify opportunities, support proposals, and contribute to winning deals in the US government sector.

Key Responsibilities

1. Market Research & Opportunity Tracking

  • Identify and track IT services opportunities across US Federal and SLED portals (e.g., SAM.gov, state portals)
  • Monitor RFPs, RFIs, RFQs and maintain a structured opportunity database
  • Conduct basic research on agencies, vendors, and procurement trends

2. Presales & Proposal Support

  • Assist in preparing proposals, presentations, and capability documents
  • Support in building compliance matrices and documentation for bids
  • Collaborate with technical teams to gather solution inputs

3. Competitive Intelligence

  • Research competitors, past contract awards, and pricing benchmarks
  • Analyze public sector IT trends.

4. Sales & Capture Support

  • Assist senior team members in opportunity qualification (go/no-go decisions)
  • Help in account research, stakeholder mapping, and pipeline tracking

5. Reporting & Documentation

  • Maintain CRM tools and track opportunity lifecycle
  • Prepare reports, dashboards, and summaries for leadership

Eligibility Criteria (Strict/Mandatory)

  • B.E / B.Tech (Computer Science, IT, or related field)
  • MBA in Marketing/Sales preferred from IIMs
  • Only candidates from IITs / IIMs will be considered

Required Skills

  • Strong analytical and research skills
  • Basic understanding or interest in IT services.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

Good to Have (Not Mandatory)

Internship/project experience in:

  • Presales / consulting / market research
  • IT services or SaaS companies

Basic understanding of: (Not Mandatory)

  • US Government structure (Federal vs State/Local)
  • Public procurement processes (RFP lifecycle)
