Role Summary:

The Presales / Solutions Consultant will act as the technical anchor for both India and global sales teams. You will translate customer challenges into solution architectures and demonstrate the value of ExactSpace's predictive analytics platform. This is a hybrid role combining domain expertise, data/system understanding, and customer-facing communication.

Core Responsibilities:

Customer Discovery & Problem Definition

Lead detailed technical discussions with plant teams, digital teams, and engineering heads.

Capture data sources, historian landscape, control systems, existing analytics workflows.

Identify gaps and map them to ExactSpace products.

Solution Design:

Develop architecture proposals for Pulse, Historian integrations, Edge deployments, and Cloud/on-prem setups

Prepare system sizing, deployment plans, and requirement documents

Support large tenders with technical responses, compliance matrices, and clarifications

Demos & Technical Validation

Deliver customized demos and walkthroughs for enterprise accounts.

Conduct PoCsdefine scope, data needs, success criteria, and reporting.

Drive customer confidence in our technology through evidence and clear communication.

Sales Enablement

Create reusable technical content: diagrams, templates, solution briefs.

Train sales teams on product features, differentiation, and value messaging.

Work closely with Product, Engineering, and Data Science on customer requirements.

Required Experience & Skills:

610 years in presales/solutions architecture in OT, industrial digitalization, predictive maintenance, IIoT, or Enterprise Tech.

Strong understanding of historians, OPC UA, DCS/PLC systems, plant data flows.

Ability to bridge between technical detail and business value.

Excellent communication and presentation abilities.

Success Indicators:

Technical accuracy and clarity in proposals.

PoC success rates and technical win rates.

Sales cycle acceleration due to strong presales support.
