Job Description

Role: Presales Solution Architect / Consultant – Oracle HCM Cloud

Location: Bengaluru / Chennai / Pune - Hybrid

Experience: 8–15+ years (with at least 4-5 years in Oracle Cloud HCM Presales/Solutioning)

Job Summary

The Oracle HCM Presales Consultant is responsible for driving the growth of the Oracle HCM practice by designing high-quality, cost-effective solutions for prospective clients. You will work closely with the sales team to respond to RFPs/RFIs, lead product demonstrations, and define the value proposition of Hexaware's Cloudify Everything and AnywhereEmployee™ frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Solution Design & RFP Management: Lead end-to-end bid management, including technical solutioning, effort estimation, and commercial pricing for global Oracle HCM Cloud implementations.
  • Demonstrations & Presentations: Deliver high-impact product demos to CHROs and HR Leaders, showcasing modules like Core HR, Talent Management, Payroll, and Recruiting Cloud.
  • Gap Analysis & Extensions: Identify functional gaps in the Oracle Cloud suite and propose extensions or integrations (using OIC/PaaS) to meet specific client needs.
  • Strategic Positioning: Articulate Hexaware's unique differentiators, such as their VELOCITY methodology and AnywhereEmployee™ Orbit platform.
  • Market Intelligence: Conduct competition research and stay updated on Oracle's quarterly release features to advise clients on roadmaps and risk mitigation.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with delivery heads, legal, and OEM (Oracle) partners to ensure a seamless transition from sales to the implementation phase.

Technical & Functional Requirements

  • Core Expertise: Deep functional knowledge of Oracle Cloud HCM (Global Human Resources, Talent Management, Absence Management, Benefits, and Payroll).
  • Experience: Proven track record in handling mid-to-large scale HCM bids (multi-country rollouts).
  • Methodology: Familiarity with implementation methodologies (e.g., Oracle Unified Method, Hexaware Velocity).
  • Integrations: Basic understanding of Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and how HCM interacts with Finance or third-party systems.
  • Education: BE/B.Tech or MBA (HR/Systems preferred from a premier institute).

Preferred Skills

  • Oracle Cloud HCM Implementation or Presales Certifications.
  • Experience in a consulting or IT services background (Tier 1/2 firms).
  • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to defend a solution during oral presentations.
  • Willingness to travel (typically 10–30%) for client workshops and final bid defenses.
