We are seeking an experienced Senior Presales Solution Architect to drive solution design, bid strategy, and technical leadership across Government Commercial Cloud (GCC) and Agency Tenant Facilities Management (ATFM) initiatives.
As a trusted advisor to customers and internal stakeholders, you will play a pivotal role in shaping end-to-end technology solutions, responding to public sector tenders, and supporting business growth through innovative cloud and infrastructure architectures. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with commercial acumen and a proven track record in presales engagements within system integrators or technology service providers.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end solutioning activities for GCC cloud infrastructure, data centre, managed services, and ATFM opportunities
- Engage customers to understand business requirements, operational challenges, and transformation objectives
- Develop high-quality technical proposals, solution architectures, implementation approaches, and service designs
- Design scalable, secure, and compliant cloud solutions aligned with Singapore Government and enterprise requirements
- Provide technical leadership throughout the sales lifecycle from opportunity qualification to contract award
- Lead technical responses for RFPs, RFQs, ITTs, and government tenders
- Collaborate with sales, delivery, operations, and technology partners to develop competitive and differentiated proposals
- Own solution costing, risk assessment, assumptions, dependencies, and technical compliance matrices
- Participate in proposal reviews, customer presentations, and tender clarification session
- Support commercial negotiations and bid activities
- Architect cloud migration, cloud-native, hybrid cloud, and managed cloud solutions leveraging GCC environments
- Design infrastructure solutions across compute, storage, networking, backup, disaster recovery, and security domains
- Develop managed service offerings and operational support models aligned with customer requirements
- Recommend best practices for cloud governance, security, resilience, and operational excellence
- Act as a trusted technical advisor to customers, partners, and internal teams
- Build strong relationships with cloud providers, technology vendors, and strategic partners
- Collaborate closely with delivery teams to ensure successful transition from presales to implementation
- Mentor junior architects and presales consultants where required
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of experience in Solution Architecture, Presales Engineering, or Technical Consulting roles
- Proven experience working within a System Integrator, Managed Services Provider, Cloud Service Provider, or Technology Consulting environment
- Strong track record supporting public sector and enterprise cloud transformation projects
- Hands-on experience in tender responses, bid management, and customer-facing presales engagements
- Experience designing and presenting complex multi-million-dollar infrastructure and cloud solutions
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to balance technical depth with business consideration
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams
- Good understanding of cost models, sizing, and effort estimation
