Presales Solution Architect – Data & AI
We're looking for a Presales Solution Architect – Data & AI to join our growing cloud and AI practice at Lauren Group. You'll lead technical presales conversations across data, AI/ML, and agentic AI use cases — primarily on AWS, with good exposure to platforms like Databricks and Azure — helping customers move from a business problem to a compelling, technically sound solution.
What you'll do
- Lead discovery conversations with customers and translate their data/AI challenges into solution architectures.
- Design and present end-to-end data and AI solutions, from proposals and architecture diagrams to RFP/RFI responses.
- Scope and drive POCs to validate fit and move deals forward.
- Work closely with sales, delivery, and partner teams (AWS, and others) on joint pursuits.
- Help build out reusable assets, templates, and practice capability over time.
Who you are
- 3–6 years in cloud, data, or AI/ML roles, with some experience in a presales or customer-facing capacity.
- Solid functional understanding of data and AI concepts — comfortable enough to have an independent point of view, not looking to be taught the basics.
- Strong communicator who can flex between technical and business audiences.
- A curious, learner's mindset — you ask good questions and aren't afraid to challenge the obvious answer.
- High ownership — you drive things to closure rather than waiting to be told.
Good to have
- AWS is preferred; familiarity with Anthropic, OpenAI, Databricks, or Azure is a plus.
- Relevant certifications (AWS, Databricks, or similar).
