We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Pre-Sales Manager to join our team. This role is critical in supporting our sales organization by owning the solution design, proposal development, and end-to-end pre-sales cycle for software and services. The ideal candidate will combine strong business acumen, technical expertise, and excellent communication skills to deliver compelling customer-facing presentations and proposals that align with client needs.
Job Specific Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer needs and deliver product/ service presentations that address business challenges
- Co-ordinate with delivery and technical teams to design solutions that align with both functional and non-functional requirements, considering feasibility, scalability, and ROI
- Create pricing models and licensing recommendations using standard frameworks
- Will report to the Global Sales Head (UK) position currently being hired.
- Lead a team of 2 Pre-Sales Executives, providing mentoring and guidance.
- Strong written and oral communication skills; self-starter with the ability to manage work independently.
- Maintain and update CRM tools such as HubSpot and Contract Portals with pipeline and proposal information
- Providing Market Research on the leads generated by the Sales team
- Collaborate with legal and commercial teams on contract structuring, compliance, and security considerations
- Analyze the competitive landscape to position offerings effectively
- Support commercial teams in structuring complex commercial models
- Guide customers and internal stakeholders through the software development lifecycle (SDLC) from a solutioning and engagement perspective
Required Competencies and Skills:
- Deep understanding of product and service offerings across software services and product domains
- Ability to anchor RFPs / Proposals from start to submission for IT Services or Platform Services responses.
- Collaborate effectively with Sales, Technology, and Delivery teams.
- Ensure the CRM (Mitra uses HubSpot) is kept up to date with all opportunities.
- Conduct product demos (RocketDev.AI) for client CIOs and teams.
- Strong understanding of various pricing methodologies and commercial models.
- Experience in deal qualification, pricing, and licensing
- Knowledge of SDLC phases and best practices in software project execution
- Strong industry knowledge in BFSI, Healthcare, Telecom, Retail
- Understanding of legal and compliance requirements in contracting
- Leadership qualities with experience managing or mentoring pre-sales or solutioning teams
- Strategic thinking and the ability to work under pressure
Required Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computing/ IT or Business Management
- Prior experience in Pre-Sales activities for an IT services company or platform services
- 810 years of experience in relevant roles
- Proven experience in market research and generating ground intelligence
