Key Responsibilities:
1. Presales Support & Solution Design
- Work closely with account managers to identify customer needs and define appropriate technical solutions.
- Design and propose networking solutions (LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, Wi-Fi, Data etc.) based on customer requirements.
- Prepare high-level and detailed solution architectures, bill of materials (BoM), and scope of work (SoW).
- Conduct technical presentations, demos, and Proof of Concepts (PoCs) for government clients.
2. Tender / RFP Management
- Analyze RFPs, RFIs, and tenders released by government bodies and PSUs.
- Prepare technical compliance documents, solution write-ups, and response matrices.
- Collaborate with Partner and internal teams to ensure compliance with technical specifications and standards.
- Support the sales and bid team during GeM (Government e-Marketplace) submissions.
3. Customer & OEM Engagement
- Engage with government customers (central, state, PSU, defense, smart city, etc.) for technical discussions.
- Conduct workshops and training sessions to evangelize the proposed technologies and architectures.
4. Internal Collaboration
- Work with project and delivery teams to ensure the solution proposed is implementable within time and budget.
- Provide technical guidance during project handover and deployment.
- Stay updated with latest technologies, certifications, and trends in networking, security, and cloud relevant to the public sector.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Experience : 5 to 7 Year
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Computer Science, or related field.
- Certifications (preferred): CCNP, CCNP / CCIE or equivalent OEM certifications.
- Technical Expertise:
- Networking: Routing, Switching, SD-WAN, Wireless LAN
- Familiarity with IPv6, QoS, MPLS, and network management tools
- Domain Knowledge:
- Understanding of Indian Government IT procurement processes, empanelment's, and tender lifecycles.
- Experience working with NIC, CDAC, or PSU clients.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Excellent documentation and proposal-writing ability
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
