- Prepare comprehensive technical proposals in response to assigned RFQs as per scope defined by manager
- Represent the company in customer interactions as a subject-matter expert and provide valuable technical insights/recommendations on telecommunication and security systems
- This role is a customer facing role which involves understanding the customer's functional requirements, analysing their existing infrastructure, understanding the issues faced by them and proposing the right solution based on a range of existing and new products
Minimum Experience of 3-7 years.
Technical Skills
The candidate shall have a sound foundation in engineering and scientific concepts and well versed with numerical calculations using spreadsheets. The candidate shall be competent in designing and architecting multi-system solutions for power, energy, smart city and mission-critical sectors in the various systems including but not limited to:
- Optical fiber based transmission systems such as DWDM, Packet Optical Transport, SDH and OTN
- Ethernet and IP network architecture, products (switches, routers, firewalls, etc.), protocols and security
- Telephony and video-conferencing solutions
- Security and surveillance equipment such as CCTV, Access Control Systems, Perimeter Intrusion Detection Systems, PSIM solutions
- Radio Systems such as Tetra Networks, PtP and PtMP, UHF, VHF and Microwave
- PAGA and Siren Systems
- Racking and Structured Cable Systems
- Knowledge of more than 2 systems is desirable.
