Position: PreSales Consultant ERP Solutions
Location: Chennai Onsite/Hybrid/Remote
Shift Timing: 3.00AM 12.00PM PST (US Pacific Time)
Engagement Mode: Full Time
About the Role: We are looking for a Pre-Sales Consultant with 45 years of experience to support solution positioning, product demonstrations, and customer engagement for ERP and digital transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will have excellent presentation and communication skills, the ability to translate business requirements into compelling solution narratives, and strong experience conducting customer demos and solution walkthroughs. This role works closely with sales teams, solution architects, and delivery teams to help drive new customer acquisitions and expand existing client engagements.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Discovery & Solution Positioning:
Engage with prospective customers to understand their business challenges, processes, and technology landscape.
Translate customer requirements into ERP solution capabilities and value propositions.
Collaborate with sales teams to develop solution strategies for opportunities.
Product Demonstrations:
Deliver high-impact product demonstrations tailored to customer use cases.
Configure demo environments and develop industry-specific demo scenarios.
Clearly articulate how ERP solutions support processes such as:
Financial Management:
Procure-to-Pay
Order-to-Cash
Inventory and Supply Chain
Proposal & Solution Support:
Support preparation of solution presentations, RFP/RFI responses, and capability decks.
Work with functional and technical teams to develop solution architectures and implementation approaches.
Assist in preparing customer proposals, solution documents, and effort estimates.
Sales Enablement:
Collaborate with sales leadership to develop go-to-market materials and demo scripts.
Support internal teams with product knowledge and demo training.
Contribute to development of industry-specific demo assets and solution accelerators.
Customer Engagement:
Participate in customer workshops, discovery sessions, and executive presentations.
Build strong relationships with business and IT stakeholders during the sales cycle.
Help customers understand the business value and ROI of ERP transformation initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
45 years of experience in Pre-Sales, Solution Consulting, or Functional Consulting roles
Experience demonstrating ERP solutions (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, etc.)
Excellent presentation and storytelling skills
Strong business process understanding across finance or operations
Ability to deliver customer-facing product demonstrations
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in ERP consulting or implementation environments
Exposure to NetSuite solutions is highly preferred
Experience preparing solution proposals and responding to RFPs
Knowledge of business transformation and digital ERP initiatives
