Role Title:Presales Consultant (ERP)
Reports to:VP Sales & Marketing
Key responsibilities
- Client engagement and requirement gathering: Work with prospective clients to understand their business challenges, analyze their needs, and map them to ERP/CRM solutions.
- Solution design and demonstration: Develop tailored solutions and design architectures, then prepare and deliver product demonstrations, presentations, and proof-of-concept (POC) scenarios.
- Proposal and documentation development: Create high-quality pre-sales documentation, including solution overviews, business case presentations, and response to RFPs/RFIs.
- Sales cycle support: Collaborate closely with sales teams to support them throughout the sales cycle, from initial needs analysis to crafting proposals and statements of work.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Work with internal teams like solution architects, product management, and marketing to ensure solutions are aligned with client needs and company offerings.
- Continuous learning: Stay updated on the latest ERP solutions, industry trends, and new technologies to provide expert guidance.
Required skills and qualifications
- Technical knowledge: Strong understanding of ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics), business processes, and technical concepts. Experience with CRM and other relevant technologies is often required.
- Sales and business acumen: Ability to understand client pain points, communicate the value proposition of ERP solutions, and contribute to sales targets.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical details into clear, client-friendly language.
- Presentation skills: Proven ability to deliver compelling presentations and product demonstrations to diverse audiences.
- Problem-solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to develop creative solutions to client challenges.
- Project management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Education: A bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field like Business, Computer Science, or IT is often preferred.
