Position Overview
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Bangalore & Chennai. We are looking for a Cloud Presales Manager / Solution Architect with strong expertise in cloud platforms ( AWS/Azure/GCP) , solution design, presales consulting, migration strategy, modernization, DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines.
The Cloud Presales Manager / Solution Architect will be responsible for understanding client requirements, conducting discovery workshops, designing cloud solutions, preparing technical proposals, and supporting the sales team in positioning the right cloud services and transformation solutions. The role involves working closely with customers, OEMs, internal sales teams, and delivery teams to define scalable and secure architectures across AWS, Azure, GCP, private cloud, hybrid cloud, and multi-cloud environments.
This role requires hands on experience ,deep technical knowledge, strong customer-facing skills, and the ability to articulate complex cloud and infrastructure solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Conduct discovery sessions to gather information about customer infrastructure, applications, workloads, business goals, and transformation requirements.
- Design and architect cloud solutions across AWS, Azure, GCP, private cloud, hybrid cloud, and multi-cloud environments.
- Develop and present end-to-end solution architectures for cloud migration, modernization, disaster recovery, backup, managed services, and DevOps enablement.
- Should have exposure to Finops and Cloud Security
- Prepare detailed technical proposals, bill of materials (BoM), solution architecture diagrams, migration strategies, SOWs, effort estimates, and responses to RFPs/RFIs/RFQs.
- Collaborate with the sales team to develop customized cloud and managed services solutions aligned with customer needs and business objectives.
- Recommend the right cloud adoption strategy, including rehost, replatform, refactor, and hybrid integration approaches.
- Address technical queries and concerns raised by customers during meetings, discussions, and bid responses.
- Conduct live demonstrations, workshops, and proof of concept (PoC) engagements to validate the feasibility and effectiveness of proposed solutions.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams including sales, delivery, cloud operations, security, and OEM partners to ensure solution alignment and seamless handover.
- Should have Handson experience on implementation , migration
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Experience: 12+ years in Presales, Solution Architecture, or Technical Consulting with strong expertise in cloud solutions specifically.
- Strong understanding of AWS, Azure, GCP, private cloud, hybrid cloud, and multi-cloud architectures.
- Hands on experience on cloud migration, modernization, Finops ,Cloud Security , disaster recovery, and cloud governance.
- Hands on experience of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, automation, infrastructure as code, containerization, and orchestration.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts in a clear and concise manner.
