Role Description The Premium Current Account Relationship Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Navi Mumbai. This role is responsible for managing and growing relationships with premium current account customers, ensuring high levels of service and satisfaction. Day-to-day activities include onboarding new clients, conducting regular account reviews, identifying cross-selling and upselling opportunities, and addressing client queries and service requests promptly. The Relationship Manager will work closely with branch and product teams to provide tailored banking solutions, monitor account activity and compliance, and support initiatives to increase product penetration and portfolio profitability. The role also involves preparing customer reports, maintaining accurate records, and contributing to customer retention and acquisition goals.
Qualifications
- Strong relationship management and customer service skills, with the ability to build trust and maintain long-term client relationships.
- Sound knowledge of current accounts, transactional banking products, and basic banking operations, preferably in a premium or SME segment.
- Sales and business development capabilities, including cross-selling, upselling, and achieving portfolio growth and revenue targets.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret account data, identify customer needs, and resolve issues effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in English and local languages as appropriate.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced branch environment, collaborate with internal teams, and adhere to regulatory and compliance guidelines.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related field; a postgraduate qualification or relevant certifications in banking/finance are an advantage.
- Previous experience in relationship management or branch banking, especially in current accounts or business banking, is preferred.
