Job Title: Engineer / Junior Engineer – Pre & Post Tensioning (PT)
Qualification
- Diploma / B.Tech in Civil or Mechanical Engineering
Experience
- Minimum 1 project experience in Pre/Post-Tensioning works
Job Responsibilities
- Execute and supervise pre-stressing and post-stressing operations
- Carry out strand threading, profiling, and gluing activities as per approved procedures
- Perform and monitor grouting operations ensuring quality and completeness
- Handle installation and inspection of anchor cones, wedges, and PT accessories
- Operate and maintain stressing jacks and hydraulic systems
- Ensure compliance with approved method statements and quality standards
- Coordinate with site and planning teams for smooth PT execution
- Monitor and control material usage, productivity, and cycle time
- Maintain records of stressing data, elongation reports, and grouting logs
- Ensure strict adherence to safety practices during stressing operations
Key Skills Required
- Hands-on experience in PT operations (pre & post tensioning)
- Knowledge of profiling, threading, and stressing sequences
- Familiarity with wedges, anchor cones, and PT systems
- Working knowledge of stressing jacks and hydraulic equipment
- Understanding of quality control and safety requirements in PT works
Role Expectation
- Responsible for end-to-end execution of PT activities at site
- Ensure safe, accurate, and efficient completion of stressing and grouting operations
