Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Pre-Sales Manager to lead solution design and technical sales support for our IT infrastructure and last-mile/field support services. The role will work closely with sales and partner teams to create compelling, technically sound solutions that address customer requirements across enterprise IT environments.
The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience in IT infrastructure, field support operations, and customer-facing pre-sales engagements, with the ability to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the pre-sales lifecycle for IT infrastructure, last-mile support, and field services opportunities.
- Work closely with sales teams to understand customer requirements, pain points, and business objectives.
- Prepare technical proposals, RFP/RFI responses, SoWs, and solution presentations.
- Conduct customer workshops, technical discussions, and solution walkthroughs.
- Define service models, SLAs, KPIs, and support frameworks aligned with customer expectations.
- Support pricing, costing, and effort estimation in coordination with delivery and finance teams.
- Stay updated on industry trends, tools, and best practices in IT infrastructure and field support services.
- Provide pre-sales leadership and mentoring to junior team members as needed.
- Design end-to-end solutions covering desktop & end-user computing support, onsite/field support services, network, server, storage, and data center infrastructure, and IT asset lifecycle management and IMAC services.
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong experience in IT infrastructure pre-sales within an IT services organization.
- Proven experience handling enterprise customers and large-scale IT services deals.
- Excellent customer-facing, presentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to translate technical concepts into business value.
- Experience with RFPs, solution design, effort estimation, and pricing models.
- Strong stakeholder management , analytical, and collaboration skills.
- Hands-on understanding of field/last-mile IT support operations/end-user computing (L1–L3 support)/network, server, storage, and data center environments and ITSM frameworks (ITIL)
Preferred Qualifications
- ITIL certification (Foundation or higher)
- Infrastructure certifications (Microsoft, Cisco, VMware, etc.)
- Experience with multi-location or geographically distributed field support models.
- Exposure to global delivery and managed services environments.
