Yakkaservices is looking for a skilled Pre-Sales Estimation Engineer with 4-5 years of experience to join our team in Thanjavur. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems and preparing cost estimates, BOQs, and technical proposals. This includesCCTV, Access Control, Fire Alarm, Public Address, BMS, and Structured Cablingsystems.
Role & responsibilities
- Design ELV systems based on project requirements and industry standards.
- Prepareaccurate cost estimates, BOQs, and technical proposalsfor ELV projects.
- Analyzetender documents, drawings, and project specificationsto determine requirements.
- Source and compare vendor pricing for ELV equipment and materials.
- Conductcost analysis and risk assessmentsfor project feasibility.
- Ensure compliance withNFPA, Indian Standards, and project requirements.
- Collaborate with the sales and project teams to develop proposals.
- Assist invalue engineeringto optimize costs while maintaining quality.
- Maintain design and estimation records for future reference.
Preferred candidate profile
Education
- Bachelors Degree/Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation Engineering
- Diploma/Degree inElectrical, Electronics, or a related field.
- 5-10 yearsof experience inELV design and estimation.
- Strong knowledge ofCCTV, Access Control, Fire Alarm, BMS, and Structured Cabling.
- Proficiency inAutoCAD, Excel, and estimation software.
- Ability to interprettechnical drawings, specifications, and BOQs.
- Stronganalytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
