Role Overview:
We're looking for a driven and empathetic Pre-Sales Executive to support our sales pipeline by engaging prospective clients, understanding their needs, and matching them with the right tutoring solutions. This is a consultative role that involves both communication and problem-solving skills to guide parents through the early stages of our onboarding process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with inbound and outbound leads (primarily parents) via phone, WhatsApp, or email.
- Understand the academic needs, concerns, and goals of parents and students.
- Conduct discovery calls to assess student requirements and learning gaps.
- Explain Mentor Match's offerings, tutor quality, and personalized approach.
- Collaborate with the sales and customer success teams to recommend appropriate tutor matches.
- Address parent objections and concerns with empathy and clarity.
- Maintain accurate CRM records of all interactions and follow-ups.
- Assist in trial class scheduling and ensure a smooth transition to the onboarding team.
What We're Looking For:
- 13 years of experience in pre-sales, inside sales, academic counseling, or customer engagement (edtech background is a plus).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Strong listening skills and emotional intelligence to deal with hesitant or rigid clients.
- Ability to understand and clearly explain educational services and match needs with solutions.
- Comfortable working with CRMs and communication tools like WhatsApp, Zoom, Google Meet, etc.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to problem-solving and follow-ups.
